Digital rights committee

The Digital Rights committee brings members information about the changing landscape of digital publishing.
Recent efforts include the joint AAR-Author’s Guild panel, presentations to the AAR Board by executives of Amazon
and by Carolyn Reidy of Simon and Schuster, alerts about the royalty implications of ‘agency model’ selling,
and the AAR statement on the Macmillan-Amazon incident.

In the works are a regular blog for the new AAR website with lively commentary from the committee
to keep members up to date on current events in digital publishing.

Send a message to the committee here if you have a suggestion or question.

Keep up with the topic through Alerts on eContract issues and in the eBook blog.
